My Abhilasha is working in the field of humanitarian aid for more than 10 years, as an organization My Abhilasha is directly implementing projects towards 1000 under privileged children from Barrackpoure, Park Circus, Kasba, Prince Anwar Shah, Kulpi, Kulgachia, Karanjali, Moshamari and Sunderban who lost every hope of life during Aila in the year 2009, we are also building capacity of others organizations as an external resource agency.

My Abhilasha is also working towards "Menstrual Hygiene" through workshops at different areas, both in Urban slums and Rural villages. The menstrual hygiene workshops are conducted on female sanitation, personal hygiene and issues related to menstrual cycle for women and adolescent girls. Every month we distribute more than 5000 free sanitary pads among the marginalised women.

 

The intervention areas are: Education, Development of good cultural values, Health, Disability Care, Skill Development and Formation and training of Self-Help Groups (SHG). Primary focus of My Abhilasha is, uplifting children from venerable situations, skill building of youth, empowering women with entrepreneurship building.

We all know about 'The right to Education' but unfortunately many children in India do not even have this basic right. But we are happy to provide them this right and trust me without you and your help it will not be possible as we have a challenging task ahead. In addition to addressing development of Children belonging to BPL and low income groups, it is equally important to address these issues for a holistic development of the society we live in and for socio economic development.
