Project: Santo-Gouri believes that every child deserves the best chance for a bright future and that’s why we are fiercely committed to ensuring that children not only survive but thrive.

We run programmes in the remotest corners of WEST BENGAL, SIKKIM, and urban areas to provide quality education and healthcare, protection from harm and abuse and life-saving aid during emergencies to children.

Particularly under the above-mentioned project, Santo-Gouri is supporting the education of 6 children in a sustainable manner.

Project Debanjalee holds workshops on the issue of menstrual hygiene and safe menstrual practice for its community's health and hygiene at various slums in both rural and urban.

Project Debanjalee supports 500 women in this initiative.

Menstruation is a natural part of the reproductive cycle. However, in most parts of the world, it remains a taboo and is rarely talked about. Cultural practices and taboos around menstruation negatively impact the lives of women and girls and reinforce gender inequities and exclusion. Moreover, studies have proved a direct link between poor menstrual hygiene and urinary or reproductive tract infections and other illnesses.
